Dr. Martha Dawson received the 2017 AONE Prism Diversity and Inclusivity Award that recognizes a nurse leader who has advanced diversity efforts within the nursing profession, the community, or the individual’s organization. Dr. Dawson is an Assistant Professor and the Specialty Coordinator for the Nursing and Health Systems Administration Program at UAB School of Nursing. She is also 2017 President for the Alabama Organization of Nurse Executives (AlaONE).
