Tammy Davis, RN has been selected as a 2019-2020 Fellow with the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments. This new Fellowship program will increase nurses’ capacity to assess and address environmental health issues in collaboration with community groups, environmental agencies, public health and nursing organizations. There is a great focus on community education to gain a more thorough understanding of how environmental risks impact human health, advocacy, community organizing, engagement, and empowerment basics. Fellows will be assigned a mentor and both the fellows and mentors will be funded to attend two national Fellowship meetings. BBNA is so proud of our member , Tammy Davis.
